It has been a busy start to the new year at Leicester City, with four transfers taking place in the first two days.
Manchester City central defender Ben Mee has signed on loan until the end of the season. 21 year old Mee has made one appearance in the Man City first team, a 2-1 league cup defeat at West Brom in September.
Hibernian central defender Sol Bamba has signed for a reported fee of £250,000. Bamba was part of Sven-Goran Eriksson’s Ivory Coast squad at last years world cup. He can also play at full back and in midfield.
As expected, Matty Fryatt has joined his former manager Nigel Pearson at Hull City, the fee is thought to be £1.2 million. Walsall are due a percentage of this as part of the deal that brought him to Leicester.
Young striker Adi Yussuf has joined Blue Square Premier team Tamworth on loan until the end of the month. The 18 year old was one of the stars of Leicester’s academy team last season but has not played much football this season due to injury.
