Note:
Do not get confused between Wimbledon FC who are still playing
at Selhurst Park at present but who hope to move to Milton
Keynes, and the new AFC Wimbledon, the fans REAL Wimbledon
who you may want to go see instead as a protest.
Confused? You will be. Apparently Wimbledon have the players
but AFC Wimbledon have the fans. The fans are referring
to the Wimbledon in the Nationwide div 1 as the Franchise
or MK Wimbledon. AFC Wimbledon meanwhile are beavering away
down in the Combined Counties League and trying to buy Plough
Lane.
