Nigel Pearson linked with Hull

There is growing speculation that Leicester City manager Nigel Pearson is set to become the new manager of Hull City.

The speculation started early this morning but no one took much notice until Sky Sports news started reporting it this afternoon, and it was then picked up by Radio Leicester.

No one from either club has officially made any comment which makes me think there is some substance to this. If there was no truth to it one of the clubs would have denied it by now.

It’s difficult to understand why Pearson would be attracted by Hull. They have debt problems which need to be addressed and there has even been speculation that they could go into administration if they don’t sell enough players in the next few weeks.
There has also been speculation that Pearson has been unhappy with the contract offer from Milan Mandaric, so maybe he’s had enough and Hull offers an easy way out.
