City's U-17s have returned from a tournament in Italy.

They held the Inter Milan team to a 0-0 draw, lost 2-1 to Torino and beat Orbassano 2-0.

The pitches were waterlogged fo rhe first two days so stopped alot of good football, but when they dried out the City lads showed a bit more of what they could do.

They didn't manage to get to the semi-final but Academy Director John Rudkin says they can hold their heads up high.

Jay Smedley and Levi Porter were both named in the tournament's best XI.
