The
Sun has revealed that one of the alledged rape victims was
charged with being a vice madam.
The
paper says that she was accused of procuring prostitutes after
two 19-year-old girls claimed she sold them as sex slaves.
The
teenagers said the 36-year-old woman, who ran a string of
boutiques in Malawis capital Lilongwe, whisked them
to Europes vice capital, Amsterdam.
She
told the poverty-stricken girls they would work for her buying
goods for her shops.
But
once there, they said, she insisted they owed her £11,000
for transport and accommodation. She was deported from Amsterdam
back to Malawi but got off the charges ona technicality.
The
Sun also says that the girls lawyer has been instructed to
get the best price she can for the story and £65k has
already been offered.
The
players claim the girls hurt themselves in a catfight and
went to split it up. A waiter backs this story saying the
girls had had a row earlier and were not sitting together.
Meanwhile
the players have spent another night in jail whilst the judge
awaits results of forensic tests. He is expected to pass judgement
today (Thursday)
Dickov's
wife and Sinclairs's girlfriend have flown home to be with
their kids.
The
playes have made the dizzy heights of the Sun Says column...
"THE
soccer rape scandal grows ever murkier.
The
women who allege they were sexually assaulted are flogging
their stories to the highest bidder.
And
a Sun investigation reveals that one of them has faced
a vice charge in Malawi.
That
does not excuse the appalling behaviour of the Leicester
City players, of course.
They
have let down the club and the fans with their drunken,
oafish bar-room antics.
Yes,
there are now serious doubts about the allegations against
them.
But
two more nights in a Spanish jail might just teach them
how to behave."
