Frank Sinclair's fiancee, Nicola Wealleans, and Kelly Maguire, Keith Gillespie's girlfriend, both flew out to Spain this weekend.

Nicola has 3 kids, two of them with Frank, and said in an interview with the Sun,

“This whole thing’s a nightmare. Frank must be absolutely terrified, but I won’t let him stay in jail.”

“I’ve had to hear that my children’s father is going to be locked up. Can you imagine how tough it’s been?

“I just want to hold him and tell him I love him. I am frightened of going to Spain because I don’t know what I will find.

“But I need to be there at his side. I’ve spoken to Frank on the phone, but it’ll be so much better seeing him in person.

“He was a total wreck, he cannot cope without me — but now I will be there for him.

“He’s totally innocent and I’m 100 per cent behind him.”

“I’ve told the children I won’t be coming home without Daddy.

“I’m determined to do my utmost to help get him out of jail and get him home with his family where he belongs.”

“I could sense the distress in his voice. He kept saying, ‘I’m so sorry, darling’ and asked me to forgive him over and over again. I told him he didn’t need my forgiveness for something he hadn’t done.”

: “It is complete and utter rubbish — I just know this is not Frank.

“It’s yet another example of girls targeting footballers to try and make money. I’m totally confident he’ll be cleared of these charges.”

Kelly sensibly refused to talk to the press.

There has been some confusion about whether Paul Dickov's wife Jan has gone out there yet. One paper said yes, another said she was staying to look after the kids.
