The Mirror is reporting that Leicester City and their lawyers are checking reports that the women propositioned other men before the alleged incident at the La Manga club.

Off the record the club have said that they have been approached by several Britons willing to testify that the women also approached them that night.

The source alledgedly said: 'We have had several calls and emails. Some painted a very different picture.'

A member of a British motorcycle racing team also claimed yesterday that the women pestered them at their hotel 'a couple of days before'.

David Johnson, 38, of Evesham, Worcs, said:

'When we showed we had no interest they went off to La Manga. Later we heard this happened with the footballers.'
