City's jolly off to Ireland resulted in a 4-2 victory over St Pats.

St Patrick Athletic, The Eircom League of Ireland team from Dublin, faced many of City's first teamers. St Pat's had 3 people come on for the last 5 minutes to play against City who had paid to do so!

Alan Cork was in charge of the game and watched goals from Freund, Hignett and Brooker (2). He swopped most of the team at half time, and Peter Canero got his first game in a City shirt.
