Micky
Adams seems to be going through defenders like they're going
out of fashion. After Howey's shock departure last week, he's
now also let go of the other new boy John Curtis. Curtis has
gone to Pompey.
Micky
has also been bringing another player in though, and has signed
Lee Morris from Derby as one for the future. Oh-oh, where
have we heard that before...
The
23 year old winger is apparently not the finished article
yet, but Micky wants to buy some youngsters whilst they're
going cheap. Morris was valued at £3m at one point.
Micky has signed him on a two and half year deal and paid
£120,000.
The
best bit about the deal is that we gazumped Neil "Colin"
Warnock and Sheff Utd at the last minute. You have to laugh,
don't you?
Micky
has also recalled Gerry Taggart from Stoke, no doubt working
on the principal that at least Gerry will deck the opposition
forwards rather than let them go through like butter as they
did on Saturday.
