Adams put a bid in for the England U-21 but it was rejected by Franchise, and now that other teams are interested, Adams says he won't enter into an auction.

The move to sign another player in the January window comes after Adams had already completed the signing of Celtic's Steve Guppy and Kilmarnock's Peter Canero.

Adams has also placed City defender Steve howey on the transfer list for letting the club down too often.
