Blackburn have indicated an interest in Muzzy Izzet but Adams has said he's going nowhere.

Skysports are reporting that Rovers boss Graeme Souness has confirmed he is keen on signing Izzet following the long-term injury to Barry Ferguson.

"Muzzy is one name we have identified and he is a target. He is a skilful player who we have watched for quite a while now," said Souness.

Adams was having none of it though, saying

"If anyone wants to insult me with a derogatory offer then they know what the reply will be."

"I would have to replace him and where would I start? Losing Muzzy would harm our chances of Premiership survival.

"Muzzy will only go if he sits across me at a table, looks me in the eye and says he wants to go.

"But the money would also have to be right."
