A few Leicester related gongs have been announced today in the New Year's Honours list.

Former City manager, Martin O'Neill, has been given an OBE in the New Year's honours list.

Martin said,

"It's magnificent".

Probably.

All the Leicester Tigers who won the World Cup have been given gongs. They'll be parading the cup in Leicester on Friday 2nd Jan and at their game on the Saturday.

Another Supporter of the club who also got a gong was fitness expert Rosemary Conley. During the crisis last year she was one of the first to send a goodwill message to the Trust, saying,

" I really hope everything works out well today for the "Fans Trust". All the very best to you all for the future success of Leicester City
Football Club."

In December 2001, Rosemary was granted the Freedom of the City of Leicester, the only woman to ever receive the honour. So she can herd her pigs through Town Hall Square with Gary Lineker, or whatever it is they're allowed to do.

Well done to Rosemary on her CBE. We got one of her blenders & juicers for Christmas and jolly good it is too!
