Les Ferdinand further agravated his knee during the game versus Waterford Utd at the weekend, and it's resulted in an operation which will rule him out for 4 weeks.

Damage to his knee in the Sunderland game was made worse on Sunday, and after examination it became clear the torn cartliage would need surgery.

Micky said "Oh bugger". Or words to that effect.

Les was suspended for the Dirty Leeds game anyway, but will now be sidelined for another few weeks after that, paving the way for Marcus Bent to show us what he can do up front.
