City
players were in action around the world today.
Paul
Dickov started in the Scotland team against the Faroes, after
a year off from Scottish footy. And scored after 45 minutes
to make it 1-1 and unbelievably his forst ever goal at that
level for Scotland! Scotland went on to win 2-1. He had a
good game buzzing around and getting everywhere and had plenty
of shots. He played about 60 minues.
Goalie
Ian Walker, despite being in the England squad, made no appearance
in their poor display in Macedonia and wasn't on the bench.
They managed to win 2-1 despite being pretty rubbish.
Reserve
goalie, Danny Coyne, similarly, was in the Wales squad in
Milan to face Italy, but made no show, also not making the
bench. Not sure he would have enjoyed the game as Italy turned
it on in the second half and beat Wales 4-0 despite Wales
doing ok and holding them to 0-0 at half time.
Keith
Gillespie played in the Northern Ireland team against the
Ukraine....that ended up an exciting 0-0 draw.
Frank
Sinclair and Trev Benjamin are in the Jamaica squad for their
friendly international against Australia at Reading's Madejeski
Stadium in England on Sunday.
