City fans who missed out on a ticket for the Anfield trip can go down to the Walkers Stadium to watch the boys in action with a Beamback.

1200 tickets are on sale now from the ticket office (see here for details) and cost £10 for adults, £7 OAPs and £5 kids. Food and drink will be available.

The 1900 tickets we received for the game went pretty quickly. The club have responded to concerns from fans that we only took 1900 tickets with a statement on the web explaining the situation.

The next batch of 1900 tickets would not be on sale or return, but on full payment (Prem league rules). If City had not managed to sell say, 500 of them, it would cost us £13,000, a price we cannot risk.

Cynical fans had been accusing the club of trying to make money from the beamback by not taking the whole allocation.
