City
Captain Matt Elliott has broken his toe in training and could
be out for at least 6 weeks.
Matty
is seeing a specialist today but manager Micky Adams said:
The
toe is definitely broken and it looks as though he will be
out for a minimum of six weeks. It is obviously a big blow
to us.
On
top of this Frank Sinclair was stretchered off in Tuesday
night's reserve game against the Covscum with a bad hip after
colliding with our young goalie.
Adams
said:
The
hip is very sore today and Sinclair looks extremely doubtful
for the Chelsea match. I dont think he will be able
to play.
With
Elliott also out all the defenders at the club come into contention
for a place in the side at Stamford Bridge.
Howey and Taggart both played a full 90 minutes for the reserves.
