To celebrate Leicester’s return to the Premiership, Walkers have created a special limited edition packet and flavour of crisps.

New Walkers Leicester’s Cheese & Chive crisps are now on sale in the Leicestershire area, and feature first team players Muzzy Izzet and Jordan Stewart on the front of the packet. The LCFC logo with the club colours adorn the pack and a quote from our own Gary Lineker appears on the back of the packet.

700,000 packets are now available round Leicestershire and will also be available at the club from 8th August and they will be only available for the total of 12 weeks.

On the official site, LCFC said: "It is an honour for us as a club to have our own specially designed packet and flavour of Walkers crisps - Leicester's Cheese & Chive. Over the years we have worked very closely with Walkers Crisps and this latest idea to celebrate our return to the premiership shows what a great working relationship we have.  It is brilliant to be able to offer our fans such a unique product like this".

Walkers said: "We are delighted to be able to support LCFC in this way.  It is a going to be a great season, LCFC are back where they belong in the premiership!  This is the first time that we have undertaken a limited edition packet of crisps of this kind, and we were thrilled when LCFC agreed.

Muzzy and Jordan make the packs look fantastic, we hope that all foxes fans enjoy Leicester's Cheese & Chive flavour and like these special limited edition packs".

Gary Lineker said: “Two of my favourite things joined together, Walkers Crisps and the best football club in the world!  Enjoy the Season".

Muzzy Izzett said: “I can’t believe it, I have only just seen the final packet with our photograph on the front – it looks great.  I can only say that Lineker better look after his Walkers job – as I think we could give him a run for his money!”

Jordan Stewart said: “It’s brilliant that Walkers have launched this special crisp to celebrate us going back into the Premiership.  The crisps taste great and Muzzy and I don’t look too bad on the front of the packet either!
