Jonesy
is back at Leicester after City described Notts F"£$%^'s
bid as "far from acceptable" and "derisory".
Jones
had reportedly not been able to agree personal term, being
expected to drop from £15,000 a week to £950 a
week, but a Leicester spokesman said:
"To
be honest, it never even got to that stage. The offer from
Nottingham Forest offer was far from being acceptable as far
as Leicester City were concerned."
We
thought he was available on a free...maybe that's not the
case.
Forest
manager Paul Hart said:
"It's
not been easy for us in the transfer market this summer.
"People
have to remember although last year we made a big effort not
to talk about our debt, that doesn't mean we now have an abundance
of money."
