French midfielder Lilian Nalis has signed on the dotted line for City. With the City manager saying that he's not spectacular!

City gaffer, Micky Adams, said,

"I am delighted to have signed him because I was disappointed not to be able to get him on board a year ago when I first wanted to bring him to the club.

"I watched him play three or four times when he was at his French club Bastia and liked what I saw. He is not spectacular but he works hard, gets around the pitch well and is good in both boxes.

"But, like everyone else, he is going to have to earn the right to play. There will be times in the season when we go to places where we may have to play three in midfield, and he will add competition in that department."

Someone flying around the field getting stuck in with locks flying...could Nalis be the new "Lil" Savage? Birch is going to have a field day and the poor Frenchie won't have a clue what Birchy's on about!
