Good
news for City fans today as it was announced that Brian Deane
(35) and Billy McKinlay (34) have decided to stay with us
this season and accept an extra year's contract.
Micky Adams, speaking on the official site, said:
"Both
of them did a great job for us last season and we still believe
that they've got something to offer at this level.
"We
are all too aware that we have a small squad and therefore
we need everyone on board.
"We
need to strengthen the squad, not reduce it."
McKinlay and Deane join Paul Dickov, Matthew Heath and Tommy
Wright who have already agreed new deals.
Gerry
Taggart hasn't decided what he's doing yet although he did
say at the end of last season he'd like to stay.
Matt
Jones is training with F"£$%^.
