Leicester
boss Micky Adams has completed a UEFA coaching diploma after
a 5-day course at Warwick Uni.
Adams
was there along with 60 other football managers and coaches.
The special programme was organised by the FA to allow them
to achieve a qualification which will be a requirement for
every coach by 2010.
The
Leicester Mercury says that the Foxes manager is now planning
to apply for the UEFA Pro Licence next season - allowing him
to coach teams across the world. (Great, then we can have
Adams to Barcelona rumours every 10 minutes as well - Ed)
He
told the club's website:
"The
course is part of being a manager nowadays. It is a requirement
that by 2010 every manager and coach should have this qualification.
"The
FA organised it very well - it wasn't mind-boggling but really
interesting. There was plenty of interaction between all the
managers.
"We
never normally get to speak to each other on match days so
this course provided plenty of chance for interaction between
us all."
