The Mirror are today reporting that Grimsby goalie Danny Coyne could be on his way to Leicester.

Apparently Coyne is able to leave Grimsby on a free transfer in a bid to reduce their wage bill, and he's set to agree a 3 year deal at City as experienced cover for Ian Walker.

The Welsh international was voted player of the season two years on the trot by the fishy people. They say he is an awesome keeper and he is a firm fave with the fans who will be gutted. They rate him at about £2.5m.

He managed to keep 9 clean sheets last season despite the Fish being relegated and had a great game against Liverpool.

The Prestatyn born goalie has an ambition to play in the Premiership so would probably relish a chance to join Leicester.
