FFS can't keep up with all the rumours. Here's a summary of those we've been linked to in the last week...

Adams has admitted to being interested in the young ginger lad up at Motherwell, Stephen Pearson, but has denied a bid has been tabled.

Leicester are reportedly engaged in a chase with Cardiff for the services of Tottenham's Republic of Ireland international Gary Doherty. He did ok for Ireland the other night.

We've also been linked with Spurs' out of favour defender Ben Thatcher. Thatcher turned us down once before and some City fans have long memories...

The Sun claim that wee're in the hunt for "Crewe's wantaway striker Rob Hulse." Everton's David Moyes also wants Hulsey for just £500,000. Adams could be looking at him as we can't afford the unproven Zamora.

Adams was also looking at Turkey attacking-midfielder Hasan Sas (the good bald bloke) on a free transfer, according to the Daily Star. It appears that Sas has now signed a new contract with his current club but may have a clause about talking to other clubs?

In the meantime there's been no further news on Brighton's Brooker despite it looking like done deal last week. And no further news on the possibility of Matt Piper returning home to City.
