FFS
has received the following message from City fan Timo in Finland...
Hi fellow LCFC-supporters,
It now looks like Micky and the players will spend nine days
in Finland during the pre-season trip. The team will arrive
in Helsinki on Tuesday 22nd of July. They play in Kotka (23rd),
Kuopio (25th), Jyväskylä (27th) and probably in Myllykoski
(29th).
The first three games
are certs and Micky will decide this week if there is any
point in playing four games in eight days immediately after
the hardest physical training period of the year which takes
place at the beginning of July.
Anyway, this time I sincerely
hope that as many Leicester fans as possible will head towards
Finland. Last summer about 20-30 supporters from England made
the trip. This time it will be much cheaper to fly to Finland
with a very reliable Finnish budget airline company Flying
Finn (Helsinki - Stansted,) http://www.flyfi.net/
or Ryanair (Helsinki - Stansted through Stockholm) http://www.ryanair.com
to choose from.
Like last summer the
supporters will have a chance to meet the players a couple
of times and the Finnish supporters will help the overseas
fans as much as we are able to. The atmosphere was brilliant
last summer (and it became even better when Wisey was sent
home) and I count on experiencing a brilliant week this summer
too.
Hope to see you all in
Finland,
Timo Nieminen LCFC supporter,
