Ian
Walker has been called up for England's friendlies against
South Africa, Serbia - Montenegro and Slovakia. The first
game is in South Africa in Durban on May 22nd.
Walker
has been called up for England three times since joining Leicester
in 2001 but has not played in any of the games. In our relegation
year, and last season in the 1st division, he was overlooked
by Sven, but 20 clean sheets has put him back in contention.
City
fans who have tickets for the Serbia & Montenegro game at
the Walkers Stadium on June 3rd will be hoping Ian can make
an appearance in front of the home fans in that game.
The
full 25 man squad for the 3 games is as follows...
