City have come second again...this time in the groundsman competition!

Leicester groundsman Ed Mowe has been named runner-up in the Division One Groundsman of the Year awards.

Mowe, who took over as head groundsman at Leicester in October, 2002, was beaten to the title by Jonathan Calderwood of Wolvess.

The award is based on referees' marks, nominations from other clubs and appraisals by the Sports Turf Research Institute.

Not bad for a new stadium though...
