City youngster Tom Wright played in the 3-2 defeat of England's U-19 against Germany ...but scored both of England's goals!

U-19 gaffer Stuart Baxter took a young squad over to Germany saying,

"There are players here that haven't played at this level before so I'll be interested in seeing how they cope against a rather strong German side."

"There are other players who will come back into contention for our Qualifiers in May in Dublin but these boys have got a chance this evening to show that they should be involved."

Looks like Tommy may have proved he deserves a regular starting spot!

Tom picked up a slight knock but should be fit for the Norwich game if selected.
