Micky
Adams has again said how great Bobby Zamora is, prior to today's
clash with his former club Brighton.
He
said:
"I'm
sure Bobby will be on a few people's wish lists, not just
mine. People ask me and I say 'Yes, he's got all the attributes.'
"I
have to say that he would be a useful addition to Leicester
in the Premiership. He can play at the top level. His main
attribute is that he scores goals and I'd say that's a great
thing for a centre-forward.
"But
I don't want to build him up for Gerry Taggart to come along
and knock him down. Would I do that?"
Zamora
is still rated at £3m despite the collapsing transfer
market.
Adams added: "There's no denying this is a big game. I can't
kid my players it's not. If I'm truthful, I'm expecting a
backlash after last weekend's Rotherham game.
"I
was disappointed and so were they. As for Brighton, I know
more about them than I do my own players. They will not roll
over.
Speaking
to the official site Micky continued,
"We're
going to have to play better than we did against Rotherham
because if people are expecting Brighton to light our promotion
candles on the cake they'll certainly be mistaken.
"I
possibly know more about the Brighton lads than I do my own
players and the one thing they are not going to do is lie
down for their old gaffer.
"Steve
has got them organised and they've got a better shape than
they had at the beginning of the season."
