The
Birch has decided he can't resist one last fundraising run
prior to the Norwich game on April 27th
And
now you can sign up to help online! CLICK HERE
It's the first time he will have pounded round the new Stadium,
having completed 21 around Filbert Street, raising over £400,000
in total, and rightfully getting a gong for his troubles.
He
said,
"As
soon as some fans got together and formed the Foxes Trust
to help save our beloved club I knew I wanted to do my best
to help.
"
I had said I wouldn't do it again, but to run around the marvelous
new stadium just the once knowing it was helping the fans
motivated me to do it. I'm sure all the charities I have ran
for in the past won't mind me saying that I hope to beat all
previous records with funds raised.'
Ian
Bason Press Officer for the Trust announced
'There
are two places available on the run, one which will be auctioned
to the highest bid from an individual fan while the second
will be auctioned to businesses who may want to reward an
employee by bidding for them to take part. The runners can
choose the number of laps they do from one to all fifty.'
BIRCH
NEEDS YOUR HELP!
Birch
is appealing for volunteers to help collect money on the day
saying
"If
you can spare a couple of hours before the game to help collect
money from fans as they arrive while I'm running around the
pitch, then together hopefully we can raise a lot of money
for the Trust. If you’re coming to the game with a friend
get them to help out too".
All
volunteers & runners will receive a T-Shirt which they can
keep as souvenir from the day, and you don't have to miss
kick off. Anyone can help but under 16's must be accompanied
