Micky Adams has got City fans worrying that Muzzy Izzet is going to be leaving by signing an attacking and creative midfielder, Birmingham's Bryan Hughes.

City expect to finalise details of the one month loan today which can be extended if required.

Bryan Hughes was snapped up by Birmingham City after helping Wrexham knock them out of the FA Cup at the fifth round stage in 1997.

Since arriving at St. Andrews Hughes hasn't looked back, forming an integral part of the first team - either in the heart of midfield or out on the wing.

Hughes is highly regarded within the squad and many consider him to be the most talented player into the squad. He is a midfielder of undoubted quality, is in possession of an excellent shot and his range of passing is excellent.

Goalscoring is not his main job but with seven successful strikes last season in addition to his various assists.
