Jon
Holmes, Gary Lineker's agent, has been named as Chairman elect
of Leicester City.
He'll
become Chairman when the Lineker consortium's bid for the
club is accepted formally by the administrator. He has had
to give up his FA and FIFA agents' licences until the end
of the year.
Holmes
has already said the situation will be reviewed at the end
of the season, so no doubt City will have a new Chairman again
then...
Holmes will be joined by seven others on the board, all men
of course, including the former club chairman Martin George
and the old plc boss Greg Clarke.
A
place for the Foxes Trust has also been set aside, although
it will have to reach a set financial target to qualify. And
the American financier's Teacher's Insurance, who own Walkers
Stadium, are also in line to take a place once they have named
a representative.

So
should the Foxes Ttrust have to "buy" a place on
the board? Or be given one with no strings attached if the
new board are genuine about the fans being on board? Check
out the Foxes Trust website for people's comments so far on
the matter...
