Leicester's
youth team were knocked out of the third round of the FA Youth
Cup on Tuesday, losing 2-1 to Cov.
According
to Teamtalk, the Foxes' Under-18s started brightly but found
themselves behind after 18 minutes when Rory May finished
off a move he started to fire the home side ahead. Ahmed Deen
then forced a good save from Richard Brush before Coventry
twice went close just after half time through Roy O'Donovan.
City's
Kevin Larvin then spurned a gilt-edged chance, firing over
from 12 yards before Coventry added a second four minutes
from time when Andrew Whing drove home.
Jamie
Doyle grabbed one back in injury time but City could not complete
the fightback and were sent
out of the cup.
