Absolutely speechless. That's what we are here at FFS.
We
heard the news late last night that the FA have instructed
Leicester City to reinstate Dennis Wise, saying that although
he assaulted team mate Callum Davidson, he could not be sacked.
The League's Football Disciplinary Commission (FDC) ruled
that a fine of two weeks' wages was the maximum punishment
which could be imposed under current regulations. They apparently
said they regretted the fact that they could not impose a
harsher sentence.
We
hoped that having slept on the matter we'd be a little less
angry.
Well
we're not. We are absolutely f***ing disgusted.
Wise
assaulted a man in bed, leaving him with a double fracture
of a cheekbone and unable to play for the team for months
. He should be up in court and in prison. And all the FA can
say is fine him 2 weeks wages??
And
what the hell do the PFA think they're doing?
Arsehole
Taylor, the chief executive of the Professional Footballers'
Association, welcomed the ruling, claiming that Leicester's
financial problems had clouded their judgement.
He
said: "It's a sensitive situation. Dennis has a reputation
for such problems at times but it was a fact that Leicester
were trying to get the wage bill down and get rid of players.
"For
that reason the punishment was excessive but a High Court
judge has made this decision and it's no bad thing the law
of the land is being used to get things in proportion."
It's
got fook all to do with the money you pathetic little man!
We're talking a vicious assault here. In any other job that
person would have been sacked instantly.
Why
the hell do footballers think they are above the law?
And
why isn't the PFA fighting for the rights of Callum Davidson
and saying this sort of behaviour by Wise is totally unacceptable
and brings the game into disrepute?
We
are absolutely staggered at both the FA and the PFA on this
one.
City
can appeal, and have done so. Club chairman Martin George
said:
"We
are astonished that the Football League regulations do not
permit the dismissal of a player who has committed a serious
and unprovoked assault on a fellow professional and we have
immediately appealed against the decision regarding the dismissal."
The
hearing will take place on Wednesday August 28th.
Are
you as angry as us about this? If you are then mail
the FA now if you agree that this is an appalling decision
and the FA laws need to be changed. You can send your comments

Also,
try writing to the Football League. It is their Football Disciplinary

regulations prevent someone found guilty of gross misconduct
from being sacked. Taken from quotes on their website. http://www.football-league.co.uk/
