It
appears that the fans have finally been heard.
Micky
Adams has acknowledged how strongly the Leicester City fans
feels about the Post Horn Gallop and intends to let it return
on Saturday.
Micky
gave an interview to the Fox Fanzine today and said everything
should be back to normal on Saturday. So plenty of injuries
and no goals then eh Micky?!
Adams
told The
Fox Fanzine:
"I
wasn't aware of the feeling it would create. The players had
discussions about changing it, and I was happy to back that,
but then the players haven't been supporting this club for
the last thirty years or however long you have been coming
down here.
"Perhaps the players and myself were a bit naïve to think
we could change it and weren't aware of the depth of feeling
it would cause.
"I think you will find that everything is back to normal
on Saturday. The players understand that they are custodians
of the shirt, just as I am the custodian of this seat.
I
would think the Post Horn Gallop will be there long after
we have all gone. We are human and we do take the wishes of
the supporters on board."
The
full interview will be available in the September edition
of The Fox, on sale outside the ground etc or via their website.
