Leicester City defender Alex Mortimer has joined Blackpool
on trial after his club agreed to let him play in two reserve
games for the Seasiders.
The
19-year-old left-sided player joined the Foxes from Manchester
United in 1999 and signed professional terms at the end of
last season, but has yet to make a first-team appearance.
Offering
a contract at the end of the season to send him out on trial
in August? Hmmm, yet more good planning by LCFC?
