Well, he's gone and signed for Sunderland, no doubt pocketing a fair few bob in the process.

So it's time for City to move on. We've lost key players before and the club has gone on. We'll manage again.

At least the lad had some nice things to say about City and the fans, and said he hoped his leaving helped the club, but ultimately he's now not a Fox, so we'll say no more about the judas glory hunting money grabbing splitter!

Seriously though, it's pretty sad to have lost a local lad who looked like he could be great in years to come. So all of us at FFS hope it works out for you at Sunderland, Matty.

I'm sure there'll be place here for you next season when we go up and they come down....
