City are continuing to receive more and more complaints for
dropping the Post Horn Gallop.
Fans
were pretty upset when The Foxes came out to House of Pain's
hip-hop anthem Jump Around for both the Bilbao and Watford
game.
Pressure
is growing on the club to restore the traditional warm-up
tune as more and more supporters have demanded the club bring
back the tune which City have run out to since the 1930s.
The
reason for the change? Micky Adams wanted something new for
the new era and asked the players what they wanted. They came
up with a mix of allsorts including the stange cacophony we
have had at the last two games.
The
club's website clearly tells the club the fans are not impressed...The
BIG Question... Should the Club continue to play The Post
Horn Gallop as the players enter the pitch at the Walkers
Stadium?
Results
so far....Yes = 92% and No = 8%...nearly 11,000 votes so far.
The
Leicester Mercury has also started a campaign to bring back
the Gallop.
City's
response to this overwheling response?
Thank
you for the points you raised regarding the Post Horn Gallop
As Leicester City Football Club enters a new era with the
new Walkers Stadium, we feel it is time to try a new matchday
musical package. The situation is under review, and your comments
& views will be taken into account when any decisions are
being made.
Kind regards
