Veteran former England goalie, Tim Flowers, is to go to Man City on a 3 month loan.

Flowers is currently available ona free transfer and Kevin Keegan has made the move following injuries to both Peter Schmeichel and Nicky Weaver.

Flowers will be needed until about Christmas time and the loan will hopefully help to reduce City's huge wage bill.

City still have the able Simon Royce to be Ian Walker's no.2, despite Roycey being told he was unwanted by the club at the back end of last season.
