Leicester City's commercial director, Charles Rayner, has
apologised via Leicester City World for the queues at the
first game and for the difficulties in getting tickets.
Charles
acknowledged that there had been many queues and problems
immediately after the game but promised that the club would
be working to iron them out and put queue management systems
in place.
The
demand has taken the club by surprise, and former Chairman
John Elsom even mucked in last week when the queues were at
their longest, handing out drinks to the patient City fans.
Bilbao
scarves sold out before kick off and there's not a programme
left anywhere, so hold onto yours as it may be worth something
in years to come.
Even
the players were affected by new stadium gremlins...there
was no hot water for them after the game so they couldn't
have a bath.
And
no-one is likely to ever know what the real attendance was
for the first game in the new Filbo...a computer glitch put
the figure at 36,000...when it's only a £32,5000 capacity!
