Just
when you thought you couldn't despise the pathetic excuse
of a former manager any more, Peter Taylor excels himself
by having a pop at Gary "Leicester legend" Lineker.
And
then goes on to say Lee Marshall was one of his best signings!
Gary
has described Taylor as "a good coach and a good bloke" but
claimed "the money was not spent as wisely as it could have
been".
Taylor
insisted on Sky Sports that some of his buys have turned out
to be successful for City and it was wrong for him to take
all the blame for things going wrong at City.
"If
Gary feels like that, I am disappointed that he did not say
it to me face to face when we were doing work together for
the BBC during the World Cup," said Taylor.
Having
a dig at Gary, he went on to say,
"I
have to say I am sorry that someone else who has never wanted
to be in the position to sell and buy players as a manager
should say that and I will fight my corner."
Then
came the classic moment when he finally admitted he ballsed
up on Ade, but he then rendered us speechless once we'd stopped
laughing with his comments over the players of the season
last season...
"My
only regret was that I spent too much on Ade Akinbiyi and
I've been judged by certain people on that one player.
"I
hold my hands up and say I made mistakes (no you bloody
don't! You blame eveybody and everything but yourself you
arrogant little man!-Ed)- but not everything was a mistake
and a Leicester fan's website I looked at picked out three
of my signings - Ian Walker, Lee Marshall and Callum Davidson
- as three of the best players last season."
OK,
own up...which one City fan though Lee Marshall had
a good season?!
Taylor,
we have one thing to say to you. They named the North Stand
at the wonderful new Filbo after Gary today...they wouldn't
even name a toilet after you.
Tell us what you think about this in our FFS Fans
