Sky Sports are running the story that Matt Elliott has "reportedly been given a free transfer" by Leicester City.

There's no confirmation from City so far but it wouldn't be a surprise after last week's announcement that contracts would be terminated.

Elliott is one of the biggest earners at the club on around £30k a week and did naff all last season.
