The Sunday tabloid rumour mill has got City fans' hopes up as they have linked Dennis Wise to Man City.

Wise was booed on the field on a couple occasions last year before his injury kept him out for the rest of the season.

He only had one good game all season..against his fromer precious Chelsea, but the blue eyed boy could seem to do no wrong in Bassett's eyes, despite City fans calling for his head every time he stuffed up a corner and free kick.

Not many City fans would be upset if the lazy Cockney decides to go pick up his pension at Man City on a free transfer rather than screw us for £30,000 a week.

In the meantime on the transfer front Nicky Summerbee is having a trial with City despite the fact we can't afford him, and Adams has told Boro to sod off with their lower bid for Muzzy Izzet.
