Leicester boss Micky Adams has completed the signing of Alan
Cork as his assistant manager. No great surprises there then.
Cork
will start as City's No. 2 on Monday after agreeing terms
earlier this week. The former Cardiff manager previously worked
with Micky at Fulham.
On
the official site Micky said he was pleased to be reunited
with his old partner.
"I am delighted to get Alan on board and look forward to working
with him again."
"It's always nice to get some continuity and it will help
matters that we've worked before.
"He
knows what we're after here and he's very enthusiastic about
the job.
"It
was a relief to eventually get him and pleasing that we've
managed to get it all sorted out before the start of pre-season."
Despite winning promotion the previous season and beating
Premiership Leeds in the FA Cup in January the former Wimbledon
and Sheffield United striker stepped down at Second Division
Cardiff in February.
FFS
just hopes Corky can teach some of our muppets how to have
a bloomin' shot on goal now and then!
