Dr Martens League Western Division club Atherstone United's teenage striker Romi Cammock is to join City for a two-week trial starting on July 8th.

The 18-year-old Brummie has apparently "shown great determination and adaptability slotting comfortably into the youth, reserve and first-teams, scoring goals at all levels".

Manager Kenny Willis is delighted that another Atherstone product has shown enough potential to be spotted by a professional club and says that he won't stand in the player's way if they want to take him on.
