The Walkers Stadium is nearly a reality.

Birse intend to hand over the stadium to LCFC in the next couple of weeks, with the official finish date, when it will be fully completed with car parking and landscaping, being on July 15.

Fans Forum members are to get an exclusive tour on 13th June and all City fans will be able to go along to a stadium open day on July 27th & 28th.

The opening game will be a friendly against Spanish side Athletico Bilbao on August 4th. Season Ticket holders will get in free to this game.

The stadium's visitor's centre will officially close after tomorrow, Sunday 9th June. It's open from 10am until 4pm on Sunday. Amazingly, the centre has had over 40,000 visitors since it opened in August 2001.

Anyone wanting to purchase a season ticket after the visitor centre closes should call into Filbert Street ticket office (which was one of the first departments to move to the new stadium) for further information.
