The Birch made City fan Kerrie Hewitt's day this week.

Poor Kez has been in hospital since December last year, in and out of intensive care, afetr a routine check up went horribly wrong. Kez normally does every game home and away and all the pre-seasons, is a huge personality in the supporters' club and has been absolutely gutted to have missed the last games at Filbert Street.

Earlier in the season Jon Ashton organised a signed shirt from Muzzy for her, and all the players signed a get well card at the supporters club do for her.

This week Birchy went along to the Infirmary to give Kez a shirt signed by all the lads and also the t-shirt he wore on his last run around Filbert Street signed by himself.

Hopefully Kez is now finally on the road to recovery and here's hoping she'll finally make it out of hospital for the first game in the new stadium.
