Micky Adams has failed to lure Brighton assistant manager
Bob Booker to Leicester City as his second-in-command.
Bob Booker was an influential member of the backroom staff
whilst Adams was in charge at Brighton. The partnership was
successful as the pair led the Seagulls to the Third Division
Championship.
Booker
has been offered the chance to continue as assistant at the
club as Chairman Dick Knight searches for a replacement for
Peter Taylor.
Booker,
however, could become available if the new manager decides
to bring with him his own staff. In the mean time Adams must
look elsewhere.
