City have agreed a deal that will see defender Gary Rowett leave the club for Charlton on Monday.

The club will apparently receive £2.5m immediately and another million is to be paid in installments; £100,000 per 6 games.

Rowett was a rock in defence before his long injury this season and about the only decent player Taylor managed to sign. he cost us £3m from Brum in July 2000 but some great performnaces had us forgiving him for being a former Sheep Shagger pretty quickly.

The rumours about Sav being wanted by Everton are getting stronger with the latest news being that he is to be offered a three year deal by the Toffees next week.

Muzzy Izzet has said today that he is now willing to go back to Boro to discuss their offer but will make no decision until after the Word Cup and his trip there with Turkey. (No doubt hoping a London club or Celtic come in with a better offer by then!)
