City's
final star studded game on Filbert Street on Monday 13th May
looks like it will sadly have some big names missing.
It
is looking increasingly likely that Emile Heskey will have
to fly off to be with the England squad that day to prepare
for the World Cup. The same applies to Pontus Kaamark who
has been called up for the Sweden squad. Pontus is apparently
really upset to be missing the Leicester game.
Also
doubtful is Steve Guppy, whi is supposed to be down playing
for Celtic against Arsenal for Tony Adams Charity testimonial
game. Neil Lennon is undergoing an operaton this week so cannot
play in that game anyway, so Gupps and Lenny have asked that
they be allowed to come along to Filbert Street instead.
Even
without these few players, Birchy is expecting over 100 past
players to turn up on the night!
