City are today linked with F£$%^* striker David Johnson.
The
small frontman (only 5ft 6") is currently on loan to
Burnley due to the Trees' difficult financial position. he
cost the Trees £3.5m and the Jamaican is apparently
a
"pacy and explosive striker"
The 25-year-old, born in Kingston, Jamaica, played alongside
several of the Burnley squad at Bury in the mid 1990’s, before
his £1 million move to Ipswich, who he helped to promotion
with his goalscoring exploits, impressing many along the way.
He
started off as a trainee with Man Utd and moved to Bury on
a Free in 1995. In 115 games with Bury he scored 23 goals.
In November of 1997 he went to Ipswich for £1.1m There
he netted 62 goals in 158 appearances.
In
January of 2001, F@#%&t purchased him for £3.5m and
in 44 games he scored only 5 goals. In the past few months
he went on loan first to Sheffield Weds (7 games - 2 goals)
and then to Burnley (5 goals in 8 games).
